Four still GIF images at 160x120, 640x480, 800x600 and 1280x720, from 1.5 KB to 18 KB. Even without animation, GIF is a distinct format: it uses a palette of at most 256 colours and supports one-colour transparency. These images are labelled with their format and size, and flat colour compresses well in GIF, so they stay small. Use the set to test that your site accepts .gif, that thumbnails and resizing work, and that converting to PNG or JPG gives correct colours. Several sizes let you test dimension limits without having to make your own files.
