gif

Five GIF images in two folders: four still images and one animation. The static GIFs run from 160x120 to 1280x720, at 1.5 KB to 18 KB, and the animation is a 5 second loop of 42 KB. GIF is limited to 256 colours per frame, which is why photographs look rough in it, but it remains the format people reach for to share short looping clips. Use these files to test that your site accepts .gif, that thumbnails of animated files behave as you expect (first frame or animated), and that file size limits are fair to animations.
