wmv

Twenty-eight WMV videos, from 20 KB to 417 KB, using WMV2 video and WMA audio where sound is present. Windows Media Video is a Microsoft format that reached its peak in the 2000s. The files are much bigger than H.264 ones because the codec is less efficient, and Macs, phones and browsers cannot play them. They remain in old corporate libraries and training videos. Use the set to see whether your site accepts .wmv, whether a transcoder reads the old codecs, and how large the converted file is. Seven resolutions and two durations are included.
