Twenty-eight MPEG videos, from 10 KB to 487 KB, using MPEG-2 video and MP2 audio where sound is present. MPEG-2 is the codec of DVDs and early digital television, and it is much older and less efficient than H.264, so these files are noticeably larger. Browsers cannot play them, and some modern tools have dropped support. Use the set to see whether your site accepts .mpeg and .mpg, whether a transcoder can read the older codecs, and how large the converted MP4 is by comparison. Seven resolutions and two durations are included.
