Eight cut-short images in GIF, JPG, PNG and WebP. The truncated_50pct files keep the first half of the data, and the truncated_header_only files keep 1024 bytes. Image formats react differently: a half JPG usually shows the top of the picture with grey below, a half PNG may fail completely, and a header-only file has no picture at all. Use them to test thumbnail makers, image viewers and upload checks. A good system either rejects every one with a clear message or handles the partial image on purpose, and does not store a broken thumbnail.
