avif

Six AVIF images from 160x120 up to 1920x1080 and 1080x1920 portrait, at 1 KB to 6.5 KB each. AVIF is a newer image format with very high compression, supported by current browsers but not by older tools, image libraries or some upload filters. Each image is labelled with its format and size. Use the set to test whether your site accepts .avif, whether thumbnails and resizing work, and what happens in a browser or app that does not support it. Compare the sizes with the JPG and WebP folders, and you will see how small AVIF can make the same picture.
