Two RTF files: a 1 page document of 3.8 KB and a 10 page document of 12 KB. Rich Text Format is an old cross-platform format for formatted text, created by Microsoft in the 1980s so documents could move between programs. It is plain text with control codes, so it is larger than DOCX but easy to look at in an editor. Many modern tools handle it poorly or strip the formatting. Use these files to check that your uploader accepts .rtf, that previews and text extraction give clean output, and that no stray control codes appear in the extracted text.
