Audio MP3 Example Files For Manual Testing MP3 files: a 1 second clip (3.5 KB) and a 5 second clip (15 KB), both a 440 Hz tone at 24 kbps and 22.05 kHz. MP3 is the format your users will upload most, so it gets the closest look. The low bitrate keeps the files tiny, while still being real MP3 data that decoders have to parse. The 5 second clip is long enough to test seeking and a moving progress bar. Use them for upload tests, player tests and checks of duration and metadata reading.
