tar
One TAR archive with three files, 4 KB on disk. TAR bundles files together but does not compress them, which is why even this tiny example is padded to 4096 bytes by the format itself. That padding surprises people who expect a three-line text archive to be a few hundred bytes. Use it to test unpacking code that must handle TAR separately from zip, to check size limits on files that are bigger than their content suggests, and to confirm that your tool does not treat the missing compression as an error. The compressed version of the same idea is in the tar_gz folder.
